Eno River

The Eno River is a nice piedmont stream full of willing sunfish, Roanoke Bass, a few largemouths, and maybe a couple of smallmouths. I swear I caught a smallmouth years ago there on a spinner, before I saw the light and converted to flyfishing. Don't overlook what's in your backyard!

The sunfish love black ants! McGinty's are good, as are Royal Wulff's or Parachute Adams....

Check the flow levels on the Eno.

The picture above is actually on a part of the river in Orange county, but hey, who's being picky?
